I wouldn’t hold off on getting AirPods now, but keep in mind that new models should be coming sometime before the end of 2021. Battery life, audio performance and fitness are logical places to focus on. But I hope they find a way to be better, more reliable connect-to-everything wearables, too.
We could see the AirPods 3 debut alongside the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch 7 during the company’s fall event, but we won’t know the exact details until we get official word from Apple.
