AARP donates new outdoor fitness park to East Helena | Local

“East Helena is worked up to accomplice with AARP Montana to convey this amenity to our neighborhood. This partnership permits us to assist the well being and wellbeing of our residents,” stated East Helena Mayor James Schell.

AARP constructed health parks in each state, in addition to Washington, D.C.; Puerto Rico; and the U.S. Virgin Islands, to commemorate its sixtieth anniversary. AARP is collaborating with FitLot, a New Orleans–based mostly nonprofit, to create the parks.

“These health parks are a tangible instance of AARP’s dedication to native communities and wholesome growing older. The out of doors train tools encourages folks of all ages to get out of the home, meet others and keep match,” stated Tim Summers, AARP Montana state director.
