‘Better Call Saul’ star says CPR, defibrillator, fitness saved his life

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. ­— Actor Bob Odenkirk says that CPR, a defibrillator and being match saved his life when he had a coronary heart assault final 12 months, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

He was transported to a hospital in July after collapsing on the set of his present, “Higher Name Saul.”

“Because I was in good shape, you kind of enlarge other veins around your heart, if you work out a lot,” Bob Odenkirk said. “And I was told that more blood was able to go to my heart during CPR because these veins were just a little bit bigger from a lot of working out.”

“As a result of I used to be in fine condition, you sort of enlarge different veins round your coronary heart, when you work out lots,” Bob Odenkirk stated. “And I used to be informed that extra blood was capable of go to my coronary heart throughout CPR as a result of these veins have been just a bit bit greater from numerous figuring out.” (Picture/Richard Shotwell/Invision/Related Press)

Odenkirk, 59, talked about his harrowing expertise Monday on “The Howard Stern Present.”
