Buchtel grad receives inaugural AHA-Hasenstab Nutrition Scholarship

WEST AKRON — The inaugural recipient of the 2021 American Coronary heart Affiliation (AHA) — Hasenstab Vitamin Scholarship is current Buchtel Neighborhood Studying Heart graduate Da’Veonna Nash.
Nash, who’s attending the College of Mount Union, will obtain a $750 award in recognition of her exhausting work and willpower, in accordance with AHA officers.

In accordance with AHA officers, the scholarship was created in 2021 to assist college students pursuing a profession in health-related fields, vitamin and/or culinary arts.
“Hasenstab Architects is obsessed with serving to younger individuals pursue their objectives in health-related fields,” stated Gonzalez. “Da’Veonna is a future chief in well being as she pursues levels in mass communications and training and plans to play basketball. We at Hasenstab Architects are honored to be part of her journey.”
“Greater than 50 p.c of the counties’ residents have restricted entry to wholesome meals,” stated Tracy Behnke, government director of AHA Northeast Ohio. “The American Coronary heart Affiliation is working to resolve [related issues] with companions in our neighborhood, like Hasenstab Architects and Da’Veonna.”
