Lexington’s six metropolis swimming pools are diving into summer time, beginning Memorial Day weekend.
The 4 aquatic facilities – Castlewood, Southland, Tates Creek, and Woodland – will open Saturday, Could 28, and the 2 neighborhood swimming pools – Shillito and Douglass – open one week later, on Saturday, June 4. The swimming pools will return to their common hours for the primary time in three years.
“Our swimming pools are one thing all Lexington residents get pleasure from, so we couldn’t be extra excited to be bringing them again to full capability this season,” Mayor Linda Gorton stated. “After two difficult years that noticed them closed or working on restricted hours, we’re excited to make a splash in neighborhoods all around the metropolis with improved services!”
