Former National Guard armory to be repurposed for John Hunt Park

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Metropolis of Huntsville will quickly repurpose a former Alabama Nationwide Guard armory situated subsequent to John Hunt Park for park and group makes use of. The challenge was unanimously accepted by town council Thursday.

The brand new Raymond W. Jones Neighborhood Middle, situated simply off Memorial Parkway on the Steve Hettinger entrance to John Hunt Park, will cater to the wants of senior residents with disabilities, in response to Metropolis Administrator John Hamilton.
