How I learnt that fitness is a feminist issue

Within the first lockdown, I turned trapped. Inside my head. Caught indoors, work was intense; so was home-schooling. Ideas piled up, with no launch. On the finish of the working day, usually late at evening, I’d take a brief stroll to clear my thoughts, keys clutched between my fingers in case of an attacker, solely to return residence, my mind crammed ever fuller.

Observing my sedentary days and decrease moods, my associate steered I run up and down the steps between maths periods or video calls or late at evening.

Plod, plod, up I went. Growth, growth, down. It was so boring (shock) I gave up after a number of days. So I can perceive the 37 per cent of women who not too long ago reported to Nuffield Well being that their bodily well being had worsened within the final 12 months, with 47 per cent doing no vigorous train.
