In a current video for mental-health website Verywell Mind, Grammy award–successful singer JoJo shared her self-care suggestions and the way they’ve helped her handle her anxiousness and melancholy.
“Self-care isn’t nearly pampering,” she says within the video. “It will also be about introspection and slowing down.” The primary type of self-care that JoJo mentions is journaling: “I’m a giant fan of journaling. I’ve accomplished it since I used to be just a little lady. I’ve a number of journals, truly.” Holding up two completely different journals, the songwriter tells viewers how she makes use of one to compartmentalize her ideas and the opposite to jot down her free-flowing ideas and doodles.
