Legendary Santa Barbara Hotel Californian Launches Winemaker Dinners

Santa Barbara, surrounded by wine nation, is a perfect place for a day of wine tasting. Town is temperate and funky, in comparison with the steamy summer season warmth of the wineries additional inland. With a number of tasting rooms close by, The Californian is now elevating the ante with a sequence of month-to-month wine dinners, marrying the Foley Household Wine portfolio with the lodge’s excellent delicacies.

The month-to-month Winemaker Dinner sequence is hosted on the lodge’s Blackbird restaurant. After a mellow reception on the patio, visiting winemakers from wineries similar to Merus, Chalk Hill, Foley and Chalone current their vintages. The wines are paired with a four-course dinner of native, sustainable dishes curated and ready by Lodge Californian Government Chef Travis Watson.
