Residents and guests to Tulsa’s Historic Greenwood District now have a brand new place to play, collect and train, because of a brand new AARP-sponsored outside health park. The health park is situated at 698 E. Jasper St. within the B.S. Roberts Park, throughout the road from Langston College – Tulsa campus.
The set up is part of AARP’s Sixtieth-anniversary commemoration with health parks constructed in each state, in addition to Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Designed for all ages and skills, AARP’s outside health park makes the advantages of an indoor facility free and accessible to everybody in an open-air setting. The health park options ellipticals, pull-up bars, stair steppers and different tools for cardiovascular train and energy coaching.
