Planet Fitness Expects to Open in Williamsburg By the End of the Year

WILLIAMSBURG — The brand new Williamsburg Planet Fitness location at 5137 Main St. is close to completion, with CEO CJ Bouchard of franchise proprietor Excel Health anticipating the brand new gymnasium might be open by the top of the 12 months.

“It’s coming alongside,” Bouchard stated in an interview with WYDaily. “We’re working with the overall contractors and our crew to try to get that membership open as quickly as attainable. We’re hoping to get it open by the top of the 12 months. That’s the aim.”

Excel Health, a franchisee of Planet Fitness with 107 gymnasium places in its portfolio, introduced on Aug. 12 it had acquired an extra 14 Planet Health places inside Hampton Roads in a merger/take care of family-run KSMA group. KSMA was established in 2006 by Ken and Sharree Ryder and operated alongside their son Michael Barnes and daughter Amanda Williamson.
