Planet Fitness to open new 24-hour gym in Walnut Creek – Silicon Valley

Planet Health, the nationwide chain of 24-hour health gyms, might be opening a brand new location in downtown Walnut Creek.

The brand new fitness center, accredited Thursday by the town’s planning fee, will be part of a number of different Planet Health areas within the Bay Space, together with one in next-door Harmony.

It’ll substitute Price Plus World Market, which shut down in the course of the pandemic, leaving the bottom flooring of the constructing at 1697 Mt Diablo Blvd. vacant.

Planet Health will occupy the roughly 19,000-square-foot floor house straight beneath the top-floor patio of Fleming’s, a restaurant subsequent door.
