Plans for JPMorgan Chase’s NYC ‘all-electric’ skyscraper unveiled

American banking large JPMorgan Chase has unveiled plans for its new world headquarters: a 60-story skyscraper powered totally by renewable vitality.

Set to finish in 2025, the 1,388-foot-tall tower will develop into New York’s largest “all-electric” constructing, in response to Foster + Companions, the architects behind the design.

A sequence of digital renderings, launched final week, present the tower’s stepped type hovering over Midtown Manhattan. In a joint press launch, JPMorgan Chase and Foster + Companions stated the skyscraper will obtain “internet zero operational emissions” — partly, through the use of energy from a state hydroelectric plant.
