School board discusses child nutrition, testing and accountability

The Burke County Board of Training met Monday, Oct. 3 for a piece session to debate funding for the district’s Baby Vitamin Program and 2021-22 state testing outcomes.

The assembly began with Board Member Seth Hunt asking to delay consideration of the Baby Vitamin spend down plan to a later assembly. He additionally requested a written submission from Keith Lawson, Burke County Public Faculties finance officer, outlining the suitable expenditures for the excess and a “detailed justification” from Baby Vitamin Director Daniel Wall “for all of the gadgets he has requested.”
