EARLY PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The SNEB Early Skilled Achievement award is offered to acknowledge an SNEB member who has made notable contributions within the subject of vitamin schooling and to the mission of SNEB through the early levels of their profession.

Winner: Mateja R. Savoie-Roskos PhD, MPH, RDN | Acceptance Speech

Mateja Savoie Roskos is an Affiliate Professor and Director of the Grasp of Public Well being (MPH) Diet Program within the Division of Diet, Dietetics and Meals Sciences at Utah State College (USU). Mateja’s main analysis focus is on farmers’ market incentives, SNAP-Ed vitamin schooling, and meals insecurity. The info she collected for her dissertation, The Position of Farmers Market Incentives and Diet Training on the Fruit and Vegetable Consumption of Supplemental Diet Help Program Members, was included in grant purposes, particularly, the USDA Meals Insecurity Diet Incentive (FINI) grant, which helped provoke farmers market incentives throughout the state of Utah.
