This Scenic Outlook in Southwest Virginia Is Worth the 183 Steps to the Top 

Birch Knob Tower is in Dickenson County, Virginia, proper subsequent to the Kentucky border. Situated within the northern part of Thomas Jefferson Nationwide Forest, it’s been an attraction to the realm since its completion in 2003. The remark tower is about atop the crest of Pine Mountain, which is the second-highest named summit in Virginia (Mount Roger takes the highest spot).
