Through the first drill, assistant coach, Tony Stubblefield (“Coach Stubblefield”) and the Director of Basketball Operations, Josh Jamieson (“Jamieson”), sat on the sidelines to look at Clark carry out the exercise drills. Clark accomplished the primary and second drills with ease. Nonetheless, for the third drill, Clark claimed that he was instructed to “drive the ball towards the basket, collide with Coach Mennenga, proceed driving via opposition, and lay the ball within the basket.” On Clark’s fourth try on the drill, Coach Mennenga switched issues up, and in accordance with the grievance, “unexpectedly gave [Clark] a tough chest bump [when he drove to the basket], which threw [Clark] off his stride,” and triggered Clark to land incorrectly and really feel a snap in his knee.
