Worcester Senior Center fitness center outdoor fitness park

Contributions from Blue Cross Blue Shield and a MassWorks Grant were highlighted today at the Senior Center as city officials provided an update to the Senior Center's new fitness center on Thursday.

WORCESTER — Metropolis officers celebrated building of a brand new health heart in addition to the brand new Out of doors Health Park Thursday on the Worcester Senior Heart.

The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting for the brand new park and updates on a number of accomplished and ongoing renovations on the senior heart. Enhancements made or within the works embody a rain backyard, new photo voltaic parking cover and new rooftop photo voltaic panels. 

The brand new two-story health heart, below building, is supported by Blue Cross Blue Protect and MassWorks. The FitLot is sponsored by AARP of Massachusetts and arranged by FitLot.
