NORMAN — The College of Oklahoma males’s and girls’s cross nation groups start their 2022 season Thursday in Columbia, Mo., on the Mizzou XC Opener.
The meet, held on the Gans Creek Cross Nation Course, will function a 6K for the boys and 5K race for the ladies’s workforce. The Sooners will function eight girls’s runners and 9 on the boys’s aspect.
The Sooners return to the course underneath the steering of affiliate head cross nation coach Hannah Fields, her second yr at OU.
“The workforce is happy to kick off the season on the Missouri XC Opener,” stated Fields. “This would be the first time racing this course, so we’re wanting ahead to getting conversant in the regional meet location. We’re utilizing this race to check the summer time health towards some nice competitors.”
