We noticed first-hand the significance of offering alternatives for American Indian kids to interact in hands-on diet training about buffalo and to have the ability to style and frequently eat buffalo as a part of their faculty meals. FNS has labored to deal with among the boundaries that make it difficult for colleges to serve buffalo, however we acknowledge that we should do extra. We look ahead to persevering with to associate with ITBC and tribal leaders to advance Indigenous meals sovereignty priorities and restore buffalo in Indian Nation.
