His controversial plans for Munger Corridor at UCSB — an 11-story constructing that would offer virtually 4,500 windowless beds for undergraduates — led a consulting architect to quit in October. Munger donated $200 million to UCSB to fund the dorms, with the stipulation that his designs are adopted.
“When an ignorant man leaves, I regard it as a plus not a minus,” Munger stated concerning the consulting architect in an interview with CNN Enterprise Monday. “He is simply plain improper.”
Munger says his designs create optimistic experiences for college kids.
“I used to be (on the College of Michigan) final month, you by no means noticed a happier bunch of scholars and it has a really comparable design,” Munger stated. “So all I can say is that I’ve been doing this for a very long time and no constructing has failed but.”
