The trainers, who have been skilled in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic exterior defibrillator (AED), administered CPR and AED to the person, added HPB and Mindef.
The Singapore Civil Defence Power (SCDF) was alerted to the incident at 7.41pm and arrived at 7.55pm. The participant was subsequently conveyed to Nationwide College Hospital (NUH) by way of ambulance.
The Singapore Civil Defence Power continued resuscitative efforts on website in addition to en path to the hospital.
The ambulance arrived on the hospital at 8.23pm and the person was pronounced lifeless at 9.21pm.
