In line with the RBI round, notes with any visible or bodily defects are to be sorted as unfit as per the next standards:
1. Soiling: It refers back to the common distribution of grime throughout your complete notice or in some patterns. It’s a measure of the lack of reflectivity from the unprinted areas on account of grime, ageing (yellowing), put on, and extraneous markings and contains decolouration on account of ageing, extreme folding and different carrying.
2. Limpness: It pertains to structural deterioration leading to a marked lack of stiffness within the notice paper. Notes with a really low stiffness of paper can be sorted as unfit.
