Johnson & Johnson Will Discontinue Talc-Based Baby Powder in 2023

Tens of 1000’s of lawsuits have been filed by females who’ve developed ovarian most cancers after common use of talc or talcum powder. The frequent denominator amongst every case: Johnson & Johnson’s Child Powder.

After numerous trials, settlements and front-page headlines, in 2020 Johnson & Johnson introduced it will no longer sell its talc-based powder within the U.S. or Canada.

At the moment, the corporate introduced in a statement that it will discontinue the sale of talc-based powder world wide starting in 2023. As a part of a “worldwide portfolio evaluation,” Johnson & Johnson states will probably be transitioning to an “all-cornstarch-based child powder portfolio.”
