The Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Vista Training Basis current the eleventh annual Heroes of Vista gala beginning at 4 p.m. Friday at The Vistonian, 306 S. Santa Fe Ave. The occasion celebrates excellence in schooling, enterprise, public security and extra. Vista Mayor Judy Ritter, in her final 12 months in workplace after serving 23 years for the town, will obtain the Lifetime Achievement Award.
