The Park de la Cruz Neighborhood Middle formally opened in Metropolis Heights Saturday.
Mayor Todd Gloria, Metropolis Councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera and the San Diego Parks Basis honored the brand new neighborhood heart with a ribbon chopping ceremony.
The 33,000 sq. foot facility encompasses a public gymnasium, recreation room and various multi-purpose rooms for the neighborhood to make use of.
It’s also house to the Metropolis of San Diego Parks and Recreation Division’s Therapeutic Recreation and AgeWell Services packages offering a wide range of essential companies and alternatives to socialize for residents with particular wants and older adults.
