Stroll for Literacy coming Saturday

United Manner of San Diego County and Touring Tales host a family-friendly “Stroll for Literacy” from 8-11 a.m. Saturday at Chollas Lake Park, 6350 Faculty Grove Drive, San Diego. The occasion helps literacy applications for native kids. Households and people are inspired to decorate as their favourite e-book characters for a fancy dress contest. Every stroll participant will obtain an occasion T-shirt, and every little one will get a free e-book. Free espresso, bagels, and doughnuts supplied, a Children Zone could have video games and actions, and attendees can browse reading- and book-related companies and sources within the Vendor Village. Tickets for the stroll are $25 adults, $1 kids, and “Bookworms” can participate nearly for $10. Volunteers are additionally welcome. Register and/or donate at bit.ly/3TPl6Bl. Charges improve after Friday. All charges and donations help Touring Tales and supply one-on-one studying help for kids.
