Alongside the glass wall of the Seventh State restaurant is a collage of graffiti artwork with numerous messages of positivity. One piece includes a coronary heart with the phrases “being real=doing something from the guts.” Different sentiments are “giving with out expectation,” “ever joyous” and “displaying compassion for others.”
Dana Toscano, the director of human sources for the lodge, instructed Bethesda Beat on Tuesday that the phrase “Bethesda” means home of kindness within the Bible, and Marriott wished to create a vibe of kindness.
