RED BLUFF—  A grant of $3 million has turn into out there to the town to revitalize River Park.

What shall be put in River Park remains to be within the conceptual part. Options being talked about are pickleball courts, an amphitheater, a splash park, health stations, new restrooms, renovations within the car parking zone and landscaping.

The funds come from a Rural Recreation and Tourism grant via Proposition 68, and the grant was obtained by the town with the large assist of Vici Miranda.

In 2018, Marinda and Soroptimist Worldwide of Pink Bluff proposed the town construct a splash park. She and the membership have been fundraising since, efficiently elevating greater than $200,000. This fundraising has already resulted in a big shade construction being constructed at River Park.
