For a few of my college students, faculty is a wrestle. Firstly of the college yr, I hear feedback like “why do I have to study fractions?” or “what’s the purpose of chemistry if I’m not going to work in a lab?”
My college students study in a short time that the culinary arts demand a basic understanding of each self-discipline. Math is ever-present in cooking and fractions are how we measure. Half a teaspoon an excessive amount of salt in a purple velvet cake can destroy dessert.
