When frozen, the fish should have the same odor as fresh fish. But fresh fish is better eaten within two days, while frozen fish can be kept in the refrigerator up to three months.
2.Meat
Meat is not so easy to determine whether it is fresh or not. Several factors should be taken into consideration while buying it: the color, the smell and even the way you feel when touching the meat. Fresh meat is always firm, and when you press on it the cavity will quickly return to its initial form. If the meat remains indented, it means the beef, pork, or poultry is not fresh.
